# 2.11 - Board Review

Board review is a punitive action taken by bureau staff and/or the Administration. This action is reserved for the most severe misconduct in which one or more general articles have been breached either by intention or sheer negligence. Mass board review may take place if the department experiences multiple issues from multiple different parties. This may result in multiple Deputys being removed from duty. Board review may exert any of the aforementioned actions and:

* Indefinite suspension from duty.
* Reduction in grade to Cadet.
* Indefinite freeze of time in grade.
* Termination of service.
